“A Strong Army depends on Strong Families, and the longer and more frequent deployments have required even more courage, strength and hope from our Soldiers and their Families.”

     In 2009, 4,500 Soldiers returned home from Iraq after their longest deployment (15-months), and they are currently adjusting back into Family life.

• Soldiers must adjust to post deployment life; and

• Spouses and children must also adjust to having the Soldier home after becoming independent for so long.
