Family Strong Hawaii

          Our Family Strong Series Program provides support to Soldiers and their Families as they prepare for, and experience departure of the Soldier, their absence, and the ultimately reunion of our Army Families.

• The program offers Army Families classes in an interactive format

• It addresses coping, emotional, spiritual, relational, financial, and transitional needs of military spouses and children

• Professionals supervise and provide guidance to each class, and attendees get to share their common experiences.

THE PURPOSE OF THIS PROGRAM:

• To provide proactive support to Military Families through all phases of pre-deployment, deployment, and re-deployment

• To include preventive education AND identification/referral for those with greater needs

• To offer community-based support in a non-threatening way, – and

• To offer help for emotional, relational, spiritual and stress-related needs

WHO CAN COME TO THESE MEETINGS:

          Any Military Family with deployed, deploying or returning service members may participate in this program.
